The is no greater threat to the long term security and prosperity of the United States today than the out of control, secretive Federal Reserve. Established in 1913 while most congressmen were at home for Holiday leave, the Federal Reserve was formed as a Central Bank. Thomas Jefferson fought till his dying day to end Central Bank rule and he succeeded only to have it formed again in 1913. The FED essentially creates money out of thin air, fuels the boom - bust cycle by artificially setting interest rates and interfering with the free market, and has helped to devalue our dollar by over 95% since its inception.
