Our federal government is given its rights by the states and by the constitution. It seems that most laws that are passed today have no clear backing in the constitution and is a clear overstep of the power of our federal government. Too many bills are being justified with the "Necessary and Proper Clause" of the constitution. This clause is being obviously abused from its true meaning. The constitution was designed to restrict the federal government and if something is not in the constitution you must amend it.
We would like the Obama administration to only sign legislation that has clear standing in the constitution.
