Follow EEOC Advice Regarding Background Checks

Created by J.R. on September 05, 2013

The EEOC has stated that not hiring and/or not considering someone based on criminal background checks can be seen as discrimination. This is a touchy subject for many but in the age of job creation, over 25% of American are ineligible for jobs that are unrelated to their crimes. President Obama I have read where you verbally support the EEOC on this and even state that this could be grounds for a law suit if criminal backgrounds are used to discriminate. Crime rate is rising and it will reach 50%+ with criminal records. Sign an executive order limiting criminal background checks for all sectors, even the military and State Dept., to 7 years. How many Congressman wouldn't be allowed in the military? There are many of us who deserve a 2nd chance and change starts at the top with you.
