follow the European Union's ethical example of ending marketing, import and sale of animal-tested cosmetics.

Created by C.B. on March 11, 2013

Each year, countless rabbits, guinea pigs, mice, and rats suffer terribly and die due to cosmetics testing. Because of the unethical nature of cosmetics testing, the European Union recently banned all such testing and ended the sale of cosmetics that have been animal-tested. The EU also supports the discovery of alternative methods for testing of cosmetics. It is time that the United States follow suit and demonstrate its capability to treat animals ethically and with compassion. The development of cosmetics does not warrant animal testing.
