The European Union has banned the import, sale, & use of animal testing in cosmetic products. This ban “gives an important signal on the value that Europe attaches to animal welfare,” said Tonio Borg, the E.U. commissioner for health and consumer policy.
The United States should follow suit and ban this unnecessary and cruel action, furthering the pressure on the rest of the world to follow suit.
