Because the words we use matter, and military force has not achieved any lasting peace in the war torn Middle East, US Government Officials should be directed to only refer to ISIS/ISIL as Daesh thereby removing unconscious prejudices at home, and removing the power of the name Islam in how this terror group is dealt with.
