follow the lead of the FDA and restrict the use of anti-microbial drugs in meat production

Today, Wednesday the 11th of December, the FDA released a press announcement (http://www.fda.gov/NewsEvents/Newsroom/PressAnnouncements/ucm378193.htm) stating their plan to take steps toward reducing the amount of anti-microbial drugs like antibiotics used in meat production. Unfortunately, the FDA does not have the authority to impose legal restrictions. It is our hope that President Obama and the Whitehouse administration follow the lead of the FDA and take action to restrict the use of such drugs to only when necessary.
