follow through on the President's promise to help bring about a college football playoff.

Created by B.F. on September 22, 2011

Shortly after he was elected, President Obama said in a 60 Minutes interview, “We should be creating a college football playoff system.” He added: “I don’t know any serious fan of college football who has disagreed with me on this. So, I’m going to throw my weight around a little bit. I think it’s the right thing to do."

He's right -- it is the right thing to do. Fans everywhere want a college football playoff and there's never been a better time. There is tremendous turmoil in college football right now with schools jumping from conference to conference, all because of the BCS system.

A college football playoff could generate far more revenue -- and our schools could really use that money right now. Only the President is in the position to lead all our university leaders on this.
