In 2010, Energy Secretary Steven Chu and White House Council on Environmental Quality Chair Nancy Sutley announced that solar panels would be installed at The White House by "spring 2011." These panels have yet to be installed.
We need enough solar panels need to be installed on The People's House (or on the grounds) to make the building net-zero in energy consumption, setting precedent for The Capitol, The Pentagon, all Government buildings and all American homes.
We have the knowledge and technology to make this installation happen now. The Earth cannot wait any longer for us to repair the environment we have destroyed. The time for this action is now.
