Follow through on responsible home owners who have kept up payments even though stuck with an underwater loan at 10.5%

Created by J.V. on November 13, 2012

Bought house in 2001 for 116,900. with FHA loan. Was injured at work in june of 2001. Was just a twisted ankle, but it never healed properly and wound up with CRPS which made me 100% totally and permanently disabled. Employers insurance decided to fight case even though there wasn't one. I found out about SSDI in 2004, but by then I was having difficult times with payments, but was never late or have been late since accident. Beneficial Finance contacted me and told me they could do a bill consolidation loan and it would still be an FHA loan. Signed papers for $143,500 at 10.89 % just because of my foolish pride and wanting to keep current on all bills. Got home looked over the nice little folder a few days later and there were none of the FHA papers that we had signed. Try to get mod. no
