When the President came out strongly for the continued development of natural gas the other night, I thought this was music to my ears and something that can be done that helps the economy get back on track.
Since 2009, when what was then known as “unconventional” gas – now known as shale gas – and today recoverable using modern drilling techniques, is the game changer needed to be prosperous again, breathe cleaner air, and be energy independent from OPEC once and for all.
Let's tell the President to lead by example. Sign an executive order mandating government trucks use natural gas, and that those who contract with the federal government for goods and services do too.
It's time to put words into action. Our country deserves nothing less.
