Food Stamp Reform to limit junk food purchases!

Created by R.J. on May 06, 2016

While waiting in line at a convenience store, I observed a mother with four children purchase large sodas, candy bars, and chips totaling over thirty dollars in FOOD STAMPS. As a working person, I am disgusted by how non-working people can enjoy non- healthy snack food at taxpayers expense. Future dental and health problems for these obese children brought on by food stamp luxury will be paid by taxpayers also. Soda, potato chips, candy and ice cream should be banned from the food stamp program. Healthy whole food can be prepared by the non working parent instead of future detrement to the child's overall health and diet. This reform will discourage food stamp dependency and save money on future healthcare expenses due to diet related expenses.
