Given the following biennial grievances against NBC in their exclusive broadcast of the Olympics in the USA:
that NBC insists on talking over all events, ceremonial and athletic, and that said commentary is unintelligent, offensive, and jingoistic;
that the excitement of watching sports live is spoiled by NBC's delayed and heavily edited broadcasts, with the announcers often directly spoiling the results prior to coverage;
that NBC fails to cover trials and even entire sports in which Team USA will not medal, in favor of puff pieces, interviews, and commercials.
Be it resolved that no fewer than five independent media corporations may purchase the rights to broadcast all events as they see fit in the USA, that true market competition may yet yield a satisfactory viewing experience.
