We are writing to express our feedback and disappointment regarding the Chung King Mansions cultural visit. We conducted a special evaluation meeting after the Visit and many of the Harvard and HKU participants voiced out immense dissatisfaction and felt offended by the way the Visit was carried out. We informed ICE at the beginning that we hoped to tour Chung King Mansions and discuss in detail issues such as racial discrimination, ethnic minority rights and also to know more about the historical and social value of the building. What we were given during the actual Visit was a completely different and shockingly underwhelming experience.
