It has been brought to my attention, that while shopping at a supermarket, a person purchased a $700.00 wedding cake with food stamps. This should not be tolerated. Extravagant items such as professionally decorated wedding/birthday cakes should not be purchased with food stamps/EBT. Can our government afford this? We all know the answer is, "No."
I have spoken with other people who are employed as cake decorators in supermarkets throughout the United States and they say it happens all the time.
It's disgraceful.
