Force the administration of the University of Delaware to use a safe alternative to the pesticides used on the Green.

Here at the University of Delaware, keeping the UD Green, well, green, is important to the administration. Our tuition dollars, as well as some of the tax payer's money, is used for regular upkeep and "beautification" of the Green. We at UD care about the health and wellness of all of our brothers and sisters on campus, and demand that the administration state the chemical pesticides used on campus, as well as transition to a safe alternative. We call on Governor Jack Markell, Senators Chris Coons and Tom Carper, Congressman John Carney, and the rest of the Delaware Legislature to take the issue of the health of the students at Delaware's most prestigious state school seriously, and work with us for a solution.
