As elected officials our Congressman, Senetors, and President have the responsibility to spend our tax dollars within budget. They should have to take a pay cut as incentive to fix our debt crisis and not get paid for special sessions because they can't figure it out within a certain time frame.
By taking a 30% pay cut within just the house and senate they would save apx. $27,965,130/yr just on salaries alone.
It's time that our elected officials take responsibility for their actions and misactions.
