This will force the house and senate representaives to have the same retirement benefits as the rest of the government employees. Government Employees are required to pay for their healthcare into retirement and are not able to retire until age 55. Also they should only get any retirement based on their input of the paychecks into the FERS retirement system. This will save millions of dollars as they currently get a full retirement even if they serve only 4 years, which currently is a FULL paycheck for the rest of their lives.
