The book "To Train Up a Child" by Michael and Debi Pearl uses Christian extremist ideologies in telling readers how to train a child. The book promotes beating, starvation, and emotional/mental abuse as being ways to raise a healthy, happy child. So far, there have been 3 cases where children were killed due to their parent/s using this book as an instruction manual for parenting. Currently, Amazon is selling this book. Sign this petition to bring the content and severity of this horrid book to the attention of the government, and at the very least, have it removed permanently from Amazon.com and all other online retailers.
