The Art Institute promises quality education at a fair price, but a lot of students start their courses and things go really wrong, really fast. They do not run any of your financial aid packages by you, they tell you to start class and don't tell you the repercussions of doing so (i.e. once you start a course you cannot drop the course without paying for the course in full even if you've only done 1 assignment), their financial aid department doesn't keep you up to date and uses the phrase: "Your FAFSA has been processed and correct but the time frame in which you will get your loans is a bit of a grey area", they charge the same as other online colleges that supply materials yet they don't supply any and then expect you to afford living expenses AND their expensive material suggestions.
