Force banks to reduce underwater mortgages on homes purchased in the years 2000 to 2008 to value.

Created by S.B. on December 23, 2011

It is clear that until the mortgage issue is addressed with a strong message to banks and wall street, we are not going to see a healthy economy. Many people beyond the 100% financing have been hit hard that purchased in the years 2000-2008. Some mortgages are underwater by well over 100,000, making it impossible to regain any hope of recovery anytime soon. An aggressive aproach needs to be made that sends a message to the banks and wall street that they are the ones responsible fdor this mortgage meltdown. Why should a family be forced out of their home when an investor can purchase it for market value. The colapse of the market has mushroomed well beyond the stated stated loans.
