Banks intentionally make it difficult for customers to leave one bank for another. This inhibits competition and allows banks to abuse customers with no consequences. There needs to be the ability for a bank customer to independently and easily acquire (e.g. Download a standardized file) all information from one bank, that would conceivably need to be entered into a different bank in order to successfully transfer. The best example of this would be to allow a customer the ability to retrieve all their automated billing entries, including ebills, scheduling, and history, etc., and then to easily provide this information to their new bank so that the new bank can assume those automated bill payments immediately
