We, the undersigned, petition for the White House to use executive power to force Bill Murray into stating, once and for all, whether or not he will be involved with Ghostbusters III.
We understand Mr. Murray's artistic dilemma - Stripes and Caddyshack vs. Broken Flowers and Hyde Park on the Hudson. That being said, he has been flip flopping for far too long and the time has come to close the book on the subject.
The nation respects Mr. Murray and his many works. But this roller coaster relationship with one of his best-loved franchises will not do. We ask for a final answer. Do we look forward to seeing the original cast re-united? Or do we begin preparing ourselves for another wholly depressing, poorly written cop-out excuse for a missing character, a la Blues Brothers 2000?
