Currently there is no requirement for any business, restaurant, or public service industry to disclose that a registered sex offender is employed. It is necessary that any business disclose any employee that is a registered sex offender in an easy to read and public manner that is view-able by any other employees or potential customers.
This is especially necessary for restaurants and businesses the serve families or have a registered sexual offender in a public facing position such as manager, server, or cashier for example.
This policy will give families a choice to not expose unknowingly children to a potential threat. It will also give victims of assault "piece-of-mind" that they are not going to be exposed to a type of person that is dangerous for his/her recovery.
