Approximately 40 infants and uncountable pets die from heat stroke inside vehicles each year. Their death is preventable by installing an economical system on commercial vehicles.
By utilizing CO2 sensors, car latch sensors, and onboard motion and temperature sensors car manufacturers can build a heatstroke prevention system that will be effective and inexpensive (under $10).
The system will automatically lower the windows, sound the car alarm or use the infrastructure (Onstar, cell network, etc) to alert car owners and other people to a possibly dangerous situation.
By signing this petition you agree to implement regulation that will force car manufactures to include the heatstroke prevention system as standard function on all new vehicles.
