Please. Any person who respects themselves and the art of transforming literature into motion picture will favor such an action. Many other series have done the same and have been major boons for the economy through box office revenues (Lord of the Rings, Harry Potter). The original movie had some success, however, its poor quality and disregard for the text made it a failure and prematurely ended the series from becoming successful box office hits.
