Officer Alex Murphy is a true hero. In 1987 he suffered a near fatal attack while fighting crime, then in his dire state became Robocop. He sacrificed himself, to clean up Detroit. He successfully took down criminals, discovered and foiled a major conspiracy in the police department that went all the way up to the chief of police, and took down corrupt corporations. Then Detroit regressed, and Alex Murphy forgave the city of Detroit and did it all again! Truly Alex Murphy is a hero and should be honored with a large statue of him.
