force colleges to stop making students taking unnecessary classes that do not contribute to their specific majors.

Created by T.E. on March 14, 2013

Why must a poor college student who can already barely afford to go to a college or university pay for classes that do not help them graduate? Why does a doctor need to know calculus, or a psychology major need to take history classes? It is a waste of money for a student to learn a set of skills that will not be pertinent to their future career. Mr. President do you save the world by solving algebraic equations? I did not think so. So why must such a poor college student have to pay thousands of extra dollars to take a class that will never be used. I want the Obama administration to stand up for the poor college students and make colleges and universities stop having such impractical degree requirements so students can finish on time with a lot less debt and start their careers faster.
