Our current, corrupt, 2 party system has set a series of largely undefined rules to make it nearly impossible for a third party candidate to participate in the presidential debates before the election. Without allowing participation in these events, our nation is almost guaranteed to continue to be ruled by the republicans or the democrats due to a lack of knowledge of other viable candidates. Since these undefined rules were enacted in 2000, no third party has been able to participate in the debates. With the current candidates from the 2 major parties scoring historically significant unfavorable ratings; it is time for a change and time to start moving away from the corruption of the 2 party system.
