This petition is asking our appointed represenatives to review and define what we as the United States should define a marriage. This is an issue that is different from state-to-state... and it shouldn't be. We should all as a nation be able to point to one universal document (the constitution or something similar) and be able to recognize what our final decision is on how we as American's define a marriage. Then there is no seperation on this issue from state-to-state.
