Current campaign financing has opened the door for big business and the wealthy upper class to influence legislation affecting all US citizens. Elected officials no longer represent the people, they represent the largest donors to their election campaigns. This needs to be stopped. Campaign financing needs to capped to ensure big business and the ultra-rich cannot influence the votes of our elected officials.
