Force Congress to remain in session until they have reached a consensus on dealing with the "fiscal cliff".

The President needs to force Congress to remain in session to address the so-called "fiscal cliff". Congress in just it's last (7-week) recess has already had more time off than most workers could dream of. They need to spend their holiday season being thankful they have jobs- jobs with salaries, benefits and pensions their constituents cannot even aspire to. Let them spend their holidays at work, while thousands of Americans spend theirs in shelters and on soup lines. The specter of a huge tax increase for the middle class at the beginning of 2013 could very well affect spending in what is a critical quarter of the year for all businesses, large AND small. Make them earn their keep! No more recesses until they take care of business!
