Force correct MSG labeling on ingredients lists in food

Created by J.B. on July 06, 2013

Glutamates (such as MSG) must be correctly labeled on ingredients lists, so that any time they are present (no matter how they arrived there) they are listed as glutamates. Glutamates (in the levels we consume) are dangerous substances that can cause permanent brain and nervous system damage and are linked to numerous diseases. I urge you to research the dangers of glutamates (especially MSG) to get a better idea of just how bad they are.

Due to lack of regulation, companies are able to hide them in labels under various names including: Yeast Extract, Gelatin, Autolyzed "anything", Caseinates, and possibly over 30 more. Also, they can be hidden under names such as "Natural Flavor" and "Spice".

We need proper labeling to be enforced for the sake of our health.
