Let's face it, Des King is a beast. He is probably the greatest cornerback in the history of football and will undoubtedly be the first overall pick in the NFL draft if he declares himself eligible. We wish him an illustrious career. However, now is not the time for him to turn pro. Have you looked at who the Hawks are getting back next year!?! CJ, Daniels, Wadley, a experienced offensive line, Niemann, Josey, Hesse, MAYBE EVEN OTT!!!!!!
So, while I respect that Des may desire to turn pro, we just need him back next year so we can make another run at the playoff. President Obama should sign an executive order forcing Des to return to the Hawks for his senior season.
