Data released by DHHS to WRAL News show that, as of Dec. 31, more than 30,000 North Carolina families waited for longer than a month to receive food stamps benefits. More than 9,200 of those families waited three months or more. Almost 50,000 Medicaid cards were mailed to the wrong address as well.
It is obvious Wos is not doing her job in correcting this problem. Low income families should not have to wait upwards of three months without food for their children and medicaid cards should Never be "Lost in the mail". Time for Wos to step down and let someone else come in and fix this mess.
