While the FDA has regulations in place about labeling food "organic", the term "natural" and "all natural" can be thrown around by companies to trick consumers into buying unhealthy products under the impression that being "natural" means that they are good. It is well known that the U.S. has an always-growing health problem, especially with obesity, and the legal ability to mislabel unhealthy products as "natural" leads to leads to uninformed consumers purchasing and consuming goods which lead to health problems such as obesity later in life.
