We request that Janet Napolitano be forced to resign her position as Secretary of Homeland Security due to her failure to recognize the threats that face this country on its borders. Not only has Secretary Napolitano failed miserably to promote and responsibly manage border security, she has gone so far as to mislead congress by stating that the border “has never been more secure”. Meanwhile, experts such as Border Patrol agents on the ground are stating that in many ways the threats are evolving and growing.
In addition, after four years of being in her position, Secretary Napolitano has failed to find a way to responsibly measure the level of security on the border. The few efforts that she has made to measure security have been an absolute farce and vividly display her incompetence.
