force the Japanese government to sign the 1980 Hague Convention on the international abduction of children.

My Japanese/American children were abducted unlawfully by my Japanese ex-wife in January 2007. I have not seen them since.
There are hundreds, if not thousands of us LBP's--Left Behind Parents. And this in Japan alone.
I wish the Obama administration not only to lobby for assignation to the Hague convention, but also to demand the Japanese government confront and deal with pre-existing cases of child abduction such as mine.
