FORCE JUDGES & PROSECUTORS TO REFUSE PLEA BARGAINS IN GUN VIOLATION CASES AND TO FULLY PROSECUTE THE CASES

Created by W.T. on December 30, 2012

The criminal justice system at the Federal and State levels allows for indiscriminate plea bargaining on the part of the defense, prosecution and judges. Because of the serious nature of gun violations in the United States and the recidivism seen it is our belief that removing the ability to plea bargain firearm violation cases to lesser offenses will cut down on violence committed by firearm violators. It is further requested that what pressure that can be placed on the States to remove plea bargaining for firearm violations be done as well.
