Lance Armstrong has admitted to the doping allegations he was accused of during his years of professional cycling. This petition requests a punishment be enacted by the American people. Mr. Armstrong broke a contract between himself and the American people for cheating, lying and deceiving the public all while representing the United States of America. The United States Postal Service, an agency of the US Government, sponsored him and his team from 2001 to 2004 to the tune of over $30 million in US tax dollars. We, the people, demand accountability and reparations, but not in money, in shame and acts of penance. Mr. Armstrong's actions against his accusers were despicable and reprehensible and his punishment should, therefore, be equal to those he humiliated and those he ruined. Thank you.
