The Obama Administration thought it was important enough to help out students repaying their government loans, but didn't bother with those of us who are being brutally crushed under the weight of private student loans that are so great that it is impossible to ever repay them. Private student loans to not offer income based repayment like federally backed loans, nor do the lenders have to provide ANY options whatsoever if they do not want to. As a result, the economy is suffering where the debt to student loans now exceeds credit card debt, with no end in sight. In an already strained economy, people with private student loans face a life sentence of poverty, and hopelessness without representation. Help stop this madness from destroying our country and let people live again.
