There are simple changes that email providers can make, which they refuse to make on their own. It's time we pass laws forcing email providers to take their lack of security more seriously, while protecting small businesses and consumers from hackers & abusers. While much needs to change, we're asking for a single step first: force all email providers to give their customers the ability to blacklist IPs/Locations from accessing their account. An email spoofed through the server of an email provider still has to have an IP/Location of origin. IF that IP/Location of origin does NOT match one on the user's approved IP/Location, then the emails would automatically be refused. This would effectively halt some server spoofing/hacker activity, save money, & it's all controlled by the user.
