Force merchants and card issuers to speed the adoption of more secure credit cards where a PIN is REQUIRED.

Created by A.M. on February 13, 2014

We have seen the rash of credit card information thefts grow and grow and have done little to thwart them. There is a global standard called EMC, where there is a chip on credit cards and a PIN required that helps greatly but has not been adopted by the US for various minor reasons in the grand scheme. The problems caused by the fraud not only cost consumers and companies time and money. There is money going overseas and in the US being used for illicit activities and threats to national security. Let's not continue to allow this fraud by only going halfway because we are lazy and do not want the slightest inconvenience as discussed in this article (http://www.theverge.com/2014/2/12/5405024/chip-and-pin-vs-chip-and-signa...).
