On 2/10/16 Boise State played at Colorado State in Men's NCAA Basketball. At the end of the first overtime the game was tied with 0.8 seconds left on the clock. Boise State passed the ball in bounds to James Webb III who turned, shot and made a last second 3 point shot. The referees awarded the 3 points to Boise State and went to the replay to verify that the ball was shot before the time expired. The referees used a faulty stop watch to verify how long it took James Webb III to catch and release the shot. The 3 points were removed. The game was sent into double overtime where Colorado State won the game.
