There are far to many pundits comparing the former and current presidents to Hitler and Stalin and far to many people comparing America to fascist Germany or the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics. While this is good for sound bytes it is not historically accurate at all and a deep insult to those who fought against, and suffered under, totalitarian regimes and those of us with a basic knowledge of history and politics.
What I propose is that every time some moron says something stupid like how Obama is worse then Hitler they are forced to read a history book on this subject before they are mocked mercilessly.
