Force the Senate Majority Leader and the Speaker of the House to allow a vote on any bill legally presented before them.

Created by S.F. on March 11, 2014

Currently, the Senate Majority Leader has repeatedly refused to even allow a vote in the Senate on any bill that would repeal The Affordable Care Act. It is un-American, that one man would be able to stop the will of the American people to even be voted upon. It is a blatant violation of the rights of the people to be represented by their elected Congress Men/Women. This is the case regardless of the issue, conservative or liberal. All Americans should be concerned with this erosion of our democracy, regardless of their political beliefs. We need a constitutional amendment that would force the Senate and the House of Representatives to allow a vote on any legally written bill that is presented for a vote. This would furthermore force Congress to focus on the priorities of governing.
