The state of Illinois and its citizens are suffering due to Governor Rauner's inability to cooperate with Illinois representatives in Congress.
The state of Illinois has no budget in place. The DMV, police and firefighters are no longer being trained, state regulated offices are subject to closure due to unpaid utility bills, Driver's license information will be compromised due to a lack of software protection, and programs to assist the needy and disabled are on hold.
We petition the Obama Administration to step in and force Governor Rauner and the Illinois Congress to agree upon a budget for the fiscal year.
