In accordance with the United States Constitution, we submit to the United States Federal Government to force the State of Illinois to pass House Bill 0148 allowing the Carrying of Concealed Weapons. Our own state constitution mandates that every able-bodied citizen is subject to the state militia and yet they are not allowed to be armed. This ban is in direct violation of our constitutional right which states "A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free state, the right of the people to keep and bear arms, shall not be infringed." Please consider this request.
