The only thing that can save our schools is for states to abolish the current system of school funding based on property taxes, and to allocate funding equally among all students.
Let's break the cycle of poverty/drop-out/locked-up or on welfare, and create a nation of opportunity for each child to become whatever they want to be. There are so many naturally gifted children who will never be given the opportunity to be the doctor, scientist, writer, innovator, or President that they were meant to be. Let's give them a chance.
