FORCE states to pay teachers according to the work that is being done so that we, AS TEACHERS, can live w/o starving!!!

I am starting this petition on my own behalf because at the age of 56, I can barely eat and pay my small bills. However, this petition would benefit all of us in my very hard-woking profession. As a public school teacher, so much money is taken for union dues, taxes, health benefits, etc., that simply eating healthy is almost impossible. So, I am creating this petition to request that our government stop taking our efforts for granted and allow us to be paid accordingly. I've been working for two years to get my M.Ed. with the hopes of getting a raise. Only to find out that after having no raises in this county for the last 4 years, last July 1, they also froze salary advances which means that all of the time put in at school means nothing. The government needs to make them PAY US!!!
